The 50 year old vines which produce this wine are grown on clay and rocks soils, and are the result of a great deal of attention (low yield, ploughing soils, manual harvest…). In the cellar, the wine was aged 15 months in two 600 litres barrels. This wine, full-bodied, pure and rich exhibits blacks fruits, spices and herbes de Provence. It should be drunk over next decade and, in its youth, paired with roasted beef. As 'Reserve RB' ages it will become softer and pair well with more sophisticated dishes such as mushroom, spices and marinated meats.

This wine provides a wonderful accompaniment with a T-bone. After ageing a number of years it would be an excellent partner for mushrooms-based recipes.
