The Domaine Boisson aims for its Côtes du Rhône wine to be fruity and rounded; the grapes come from the youngest vines of the Domaine, principally from two areas :

  • La Ferme de Sous-Ville: a district where the soil is silty and gravelly with, at depth, blue marl – calcareous clay - of the Pliocene period

  • The terraces of the River Aygues: They are composed of a top layer of several metres of silt and pebbles.  This corresponds to the abandoned river terrace of the Aygues when it was recently displaced to the east at the end of the Quaternary period.
